Tuesday

Yesterday we went to the Omniplex. This trip had been requested for quite some time so you can imagine the excitement when we actually arrived. We have been taking advantage of the sunshine and playing outside. When we pulled up Jonathan asked me how I remembered how to get there...... I didn't think it had been that long.
Jonathan enjoyed sitting in a flight simulator and pretending to drive and as you can see Mollie has a phone fettish. Pure girl.

Mollie (19 mos.) is growing like a weed, not saying many words you can under-stand, but she does know how to position the phone on her shoulder for efficiency so she can do other things while "talking" (wonder where she picked that up?). She loves being outside and following Jonathan and Abbey around.

Abbey will be going to Sonshine school again on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I had thought about putting her in soccer but can't really picture her in a sport just yet. I realize at this age it is more of "clump running" (following the ball around in a big group), but I just don't know that she is ready. Right now she loves drawing pictures and playing dress up. She is very into princesses and dolls. I guess I knew this was coming and I do like pink, but there is a limit.

Tonight at dinner I made some unimpressive pancakes and eggs and Abbey kept telling me "Mom, this is da- liiii cious." It was pretty cute.

Jonathan will be 6 years old on August 8th and will start school August 15th. This year he will be in Kindergarten and he is very ready for school. We went up to the school today to turn in some papers and he said "I am so happy to be at OCA."
If you were wondering what that lovely box with holes in it is, well, that is "a rocket with a point on it". The circle and square holes are the windows, and of course we must not forget the leg holes, since we are too big to fit inside the box. Jonathan has such a great imagination.

Hello family!

I have finally started a blog so that you can check in each day and see what your wonderful Edmondites are up to.

Lately we have had a lot of fun in the sun and are inundated with birthdays (friends and family). You can see how much Mollie loves the water. Yes, she actually is asleep. :)
